We live in proximity to the caregiver experience either providing care, receiving care or witnessing care. At the least, we know someone who knows someone who provides care for a loved one in the home. The demands, challenges and investment of time and expense to support and retain a loved one at home make it more than a full-time job albeit without pay.
Some of the portraits and stories to follow will appear in my book, Caregivers in the Home, to be published in November 2026. All work was done prior to Covid.
